Been at jury duty these past few days. I was kind of pissed about having to go, but it's over now. I actually got picked as a juror this time and got to work on a DUI case. Young woman, mother of 3 little ones...Went out with boyfriend...had a drink and hung out until late.. stopped at fast food joint at 1:30 AM...left place...Forgot to turn headlights on, (Doh!) smiley-surprised.gifwas stopped by a Drug Enforcement Deputy...Had prescription drugs, pot and drug paraphernalia in the car. Snagged! smiley-yell.gif Refused the breath test and the urine test. THis resulted in automatic suspention of drivers license. Why would she refuse if innocent? Failed the sobriety test. Too much against her. Seemed like a nice women if you met her on the street,...just made a stupid error in judgement. After all was said and done, I felt a bit sorry for her. She cried a lot. I am glad this is over.

Been doing OK otherwise. I get a bit stressed here and there. The toilet I thought I fixed leaked again during the night on sunday and I awoke to water everywhere in the house on Monday morning. I turned the valve off and got the big shop vac and sucked it up the best that I could. I couldn't miss jury duty. I am not sure what they do to you if you miss it for any reason. I got REALLY stressed, then I realzed it cold have happened while I was away on vacation and been running for 9 days. That made me put in in perspective a little.

Seems no matter how much better things get there will always be challenges.
