Didn't sleep much at all last night. My German Shepherd dog attacted my little poodle mix and drew blood. She was very serious, not just scolding her. I managed to control her and the wounds are not serious. My little dog is a bit of a spitfire and she stands up to the larger dog all the time. Usually she gets a mild scolding from the larger dog and they go on their merry ways. Then this morning it happened again. I am sure this is because they lost the their pack leader (my husband) and the way he pushed her away yesterday didn't help. I left them in separate rooms until I figure out what to do. If anyone raises dogs and has a suggestion I would appreciate it. They are both females so this is part of the problem. I never had problems like this with male/female dog combos. I love them both and really want to work this out, but if I find I am loosing control of the Shepherd, I will have to make a hard decision.
