Didn't get a chance to write in my journal today until very late. The STBX called this morning and I wished him a Happy Birthday. He said that he got some house papers for me by mistake and he had a little trinket from NYC. He said he would stop by this week. Then he calls a few hours later saying he has nothing to do this morning so he may as well come over. Of course, I said it was OK. He showed up and I gave him the gift. Silly me, but I told him about it already. I also gave him the filled out divorce papers. The gift that keeps on giving..... He gave me a emerald green mug that had a NY skyline on it. We talked about his trip and what he did in NY. He was nice and fairly warm. He said we should go out to the movies sometime and he still valued my friendship and hoped I would still like to do things together.  I said sure that would be nice and I couldn't believe the words were coming from my own mouth. I am getting over him, but I still love him, I guess.

He pushed the dogs away when they wanted to sit with him because he didn't want to get their fur on him. Poor dogs, they didn't understand this. This upset me some because they still love him and he rejected their attention. I thought he loved the dogs, but apparently not if they have fur. 

I ended up with a really bad headache all day and it's only now bearable.
