Last night I told him I would get home at around 8:30 PM, but I got out early and headed home. I figured I could get the stuff he needed together so he wouldn't have spend too much time there. I got home at about 7:50 and he was waiting for me in his car. Weird. He found his stuff. He is going on a trip to New York for business and needed his suitcase and laptop bag. He was cold and didn't talk much. He petted the cat. That was about it. I didn't let him get to me. I am at work and it's getting to the time where people start leaving for the weekend. Fridays are usually quiet, thank goodness, so I can actually get my work done without people asking me for help with something. When they leave, I'll plug my iPod and work on some more PCs and feel good that I have accomplished something.I plan to go to a Jazz festival by myself tomorrow. Scary! It's outdoors. From 12:00noon - 8:00PM. This is Florida in July. Uhh... what the heck am I thinking?? With menopause and my fair skin I may just explode into flames. Still, I am making promise to myself that I strike up a conversation with at least one person. Male or female...to help my confidence and get out of my shell. On Sunday morning a couple that my STBX and I used to hang out with invited me to go with them to see the new Harry Potter movie. This is good, because I hate going to movies by myself. The bad thing is that I know they are friends with my STBX and I know I must refrain from talking about him or our situation. Wish me luck! It's nice to have social plans this weekend. I been spending far to many weekends at home afraid to go out because I am solo. Does anyone else have some weekend plans, even if they aren't too thrilling?
