It's nice to have a day off from work in the middle of the week. It's weird to not have any invitations on the 4th of July, but I guess I will have to get used to this sort of thing. I plan to go out to a local fireworks display here in my town and listen to some music and be around a crowd of people if the weather is OK.
Spoke too soon, looks like stormy weather coming with lightning and rain. It's getting really dark. 
Oh poo! Guess a lot of people's picnics and barbeques are going to be interrupted.

Wow...I didn\'t notice you live in Florida! The rain doesn\'t usually last too long there does it? I have been there a few times...Inverness, Tampa, Orlando, Vero Beach...a great place to vacation (I love beaches & Palm Trees...must be because I am originally from S. California). I end up doing alot of things by myself lately too...I hate it sometimes, but oh well! My daughters are getting older and like to do their own things. My boyfriend does his own thing sometimes (he has been a bachelor for 50 years, and no children). My friends all seem to have busy lives...so, there you go. I guess that is the other reason I am working today. It is supposed to be hot...so it is nice to be in my air conditioned cubby! Take good care of yourself...
