Sun is shining again this morning and already 50 degrees, gonna be a good day. Caught a mess of suckers yesterday for the smoker should be a tasty snack.
I have always been told that suckers have so many bones they are not worth filleting and eating, how do you deal with that? They are certainly considered edible around here, I know certain Indian tribes were known to eat them, but folklore has it that they are not worth the time, obviously you know differently, please enlighten me!
Best regards,
TobyM.
I have heard they are good smoked sort of like chubs. Had a bad evening. Major flare with vomiting and diarreha like I was preparing for a colonoscopy. It is very windy here and all the wind chimes are just banging away. I sm drinking Smart Water and hope it stays put. Have a great day.
Suckers? Is that catfish? or something else? Cat fish is good! We have a pond out back and this year we pulled some dead fish out... big beauties too, guess the winter was too long this year and perhaps not enough room for all of them... sad we had planned to fish them out last fall but didn\'t... lost about a dozen. Bummer...
