things are going from bad to worse. my parents and I are once again at odds over what they consider my lack of judgment and mental state - they even suggested that I go back to "the nut house" because that is where I belong. the story behind it? my 16 year old daughter Mary got caught with drugs in her backpack and plead guilty to a felony drug charge. I have repeatedly searched her room (and find something every time - a crack pipe most recently) and she flashes over (she has a nasty temper) then she calls her grandmother and tell her that she didn't do anything and I totally "flipped out" for no reason. they of course beleive her over me because their granddaughter would never smoke (cigirettes and pot) or drink - all of which she has freely told her probation officer.

My husband (Mary's stepfather) and I are now getting threats (mostly aimed at him but some at me as well). there has been some name calling by them (my mother can get very childish - I think she suffers from BP amonst other things). the funniest thing is (well there are two of them) 1)my mother sent me an email saying that she didn't want me to call, write, email or IM her any more. then when I didn't respond in an hour or so she started sending me emails saying that I didn't "have the balls" to answer her email. and she thinks I need to be in the nut house! the other thing is that my 18 year old daughter lives with her and my mother told me that she (my daughter) doesn't want anything to do with me at all anymore. I called my daughter an hour after receiving that email and my daughter was very happy that I called and she said that she doesn't know what granmother was talking about, she never said any such thing.

Well we are consulting a lawyer on monday to see what if anything can be done about teir behavior especially the threats (some are right out death threats).

Well sorry this is long but I needed to vent.
