Well my cat has an overactive thyroid - quite high. Pretty ironic given my thyroid issues...maybe she is bipolar too.  The battle of the pills will begin today...it will not be easy.  I pray the pill work, because if they don't we are looking at surgery or radioactive iodine.  At least I am home with her...but this sucks.  It could be so much worse and I have been lucky with her. She is almost 13 and has had only one other VERY manageable health issue. This all explains why she was such a bad patient yesterday, the thyroid can cause that. This gives a reason to leave the house today...I have to get her pills by 6:00.  I am feeling weak and crampy.  I did sleep a little better last night and sleep this morning...but I do not feel awake right now.  I will shower and get out because I must.
