What the frig is wrong with me?  I've just been dumped by text!!  When I say dumped, I'm not talking long term, deep type thing, it was more of a 'just for fun' type thing.  Still, I'm pathetically sensitive and I was hoping for something more.  Apparently he's 'met someone else' and they're both keen on each other.  Terrific.  As for me, I'm destined to be pushed aside for the rest of my life.  I will end up an old spinster with 600 cats and I'll keep everything I own in carrier bags.  You know, I've tried the 'be obvious' thing and the 'not needy' thing.  They say you should just be yourself and love will come along.  Well, that's absolute bollocks.  I must have a major flaw somewhere along the line.  All my friends are getting married or are at least paired off and then there's me.  All on my lonesome.
