Well, that was an interesting night. Went to bed about 2am in the end and then woke up at 5.30. Thought I heard my name being called. Which I did. It was my dad declaring he was having a heart attack and that he'd rung for an ambulance. So, I get up and wait with him downstairs until the paramedic bloke Clive (first name terms, us!) arrived. He did an ECG and a 12 lead and thought that there weren't any obvious signs of a heart attack, but my dad's heartrate was about 150bpm... So, he called for the ambulance who then took him away. Got dressed and followed in the car. Arrived and sat in the waiting area for a bit while they were in resus trying to sort him out. Anyhow, long story short, I was in and out of there and in the end they gave him an anaesthetic to get his heart rate down. He is staying in there tonight at least but I'll find out more when I take the three hundred weight of stuff in he's requested. Got back from the hospital at about 9.30am. Have tried to sleep. Ha! Have had two deliveries and two phone calls, so I've given up. Will have a headache and a monk on for the rest of the day, but I'll survive!!
