Afternoon!! I'm back! Got home last night after driving 1000 miles from Spain in two days...not bad! Stopped off twice on the way up - once in Macon in Burgundy and then in Arras in Pas-de-Calais. Spent yesterday morning looking for my 2xGt Uncle in the British cemetery there but could not find him!! Reading into it more now, I think he might be remembered on the wall there along with over 35000 other missing soldiers. Missing?! Aarrgghh! That'll bug me! Have a death date of 14th April 1917 so how would they know that if he was simply 'missing'? Time to delve deeper me thinks!

Had a great time in Spain...consumed copious amounts of Malibu and Pineapple (and a few Smirnoff Ices...if Jordi will leave an open box next to the chest freezer in the storeroom...don't ask!!!) We had Christmas and New Year as planned, got dressed up for New Year as it was on over Carnival weekend - if any of the pics turn out to be OK of me, then I might post a couple!! Did nothing more really other than eat lots of menus del dia...8 each? Who can complain? Certainly not me!

Back to reality now though, although not normality yet...will I ever get there?!
