Fun filled exciting day today...went to Cambridge and met up with my Mum's cousin (first time I'd ever met her!) and shared old family photos and stories. Adds stuff to the family tree...I tell you, it's an obsession!

Have had to fill out yet another form for the benefits agency to ensure that I am entitled to incapacity benefit. They've had sick notes from my doctor all the way thought (although this one is over due...will hopefully be ready on Monday) so what more proof do they need exactly?! It's all a bit 'what if' a the moment, but I am still waiting to see if any infection comes back in the next month before my consultant will operate. Until then, I'm also deaf as a post. Hopefully by mid March it should all be over so I won't need to fill any more bloody forms in!

Am off to Sheffield to meet up with a friend for lunch tomorrow...it's the half way point between where we both live. Carvery. Bring it on!! And, I only found out the other day that you can go back for more vegetables and spuds if you want them...how generous!
