Hemorrhoids...what are they?! Well, more or less sorted anyway. These Avatrol tablets really seem to work. Maybe it is just them, or maybe it's the other treatments. Or, maybe it's just the passing (ha ha!) of time...either way, I wasn't leaving anything to chance and a certain combination of the above seems to have worked for me. Not perfect yet, but the razor blade sensation seems to have gone. (Sorry, too much information!)


Back to the hospital on Monday to see if they are happy with my infection levels in my blood tests. I hope so. I want to have this Hickman line taken out as soon as possible. It's not too uncomfortable, but I'd rather be without it. I can now trace the line from where the put it in, to where it comes out. I think. Not entirely sure how it all works. The site is now a bit tender, due to where the clip has been digging in to me for the past 6 weeks. Typical bloke. No thought as to where he was putting it...!

Will raise my mood to excellent I think, once all this has been done. Unless something else comes up and whacks me in the face in the meantime...oh yeah, like suffering from anaemia...bring it on!!
