Not too bad today - things are a bit static. I need closure on this time in my life but it won't come for a while yet.
1. Hemorrhoids. Classy. I know over 50% of people get them, yadda yadda yadda, but I'm still peeved about suffering for 'no reason at all'. Slow progress, but it's getting a little easier. And I don't appear to have arse ache anymore, which can only be a good thing...
2. Perichondritis. Since stopping the 3 x daily IV antibiotics on Thursday, I've been paranoid that my ear is getting bigger again. Don't think it will, but after nigh on 6 months on one form of antibiotic or another (up to 13.5g a day!!) I think I might have a bit of an addiction...is that possible?! Still have the Hickman line in until the next appointment in case I'll need it. Oh, and next step...cosmetic surgery...get me!!
3. Diabetes. Pah, it's been there nearly 18 years, it's not going anywhere...!
Need to get out there and get a job sorted for the summer. Have an interview on 19th Jan. Need to get everything in order before April, get things sorted and maybe even have a holiday...feel I can't do that though until I know when the line is coming out and that the infection definitely isn't coming back. Guess it's a case of watch this space...
