Okay, so I saw the NP again yesterday and she said if I needed my meds again next month as we count down to the "hospitalization" then I should just call and she'd fit me in. I'm SO confused. Not one doctor (or nurse) has explained WHY I need to be switched off the morphine to the suboxone. If the morphine wasn't working, I'd get that a change was needed.
I'm just going to relax for a week, till I see the 2nd NP on the 8th. She will explain more about the procedure. Maybe I should take my husband so he can ask questions? He can't get off work until the summer, and I WILL lose my job if I can't travel at the last minute. So if they agree to wait we might be able to do it but otherwise, I'll need to find a new doc ASAP!
With only 7 pages of my medical record, I'm pretty much Scr#@$#. Okay, tonight's my night with Jaden. Tuesdays and Fridays are bath, popcorn and Sesame Street as Mike bowls. It messes up my sleep but it's not a huge deal. I did take an hour nap where I bit my tongue in 3 places, causing blood when I woke up. I should probably get that dental procedure done before the suboxone. Otherwise the sedative dentist I was referred to b/c of my phobia won't be able to do a thing. Suboxone cancels out the meds they give you to relax!
I just don't believe I'm looking at all these medical troubles b/c of suboxone! Emergency surgery? Nope. What if I need heart surgery or anything done that requires pain meds or sedation? God, I pray that I find a good doctor before it comes to that!
