Good Day

 First day in a long time I had a really good day. Nothing out of the usual, just the satisfaction of not drinking. I went to work, came home early and instead of grabbing a beer I started doing laundry. I was loads behind and now I'm almost done. I picked my daughter up from dance. She had dropped her phone and was in tears. When we got home I told her to cross her fingers. She was convinced it was destroyed but I asked her to trust me and just cross them. When she finally did her phone turned on. She asked me how I did it, I told her it was the power of positive thinking. Needless to say she's glowing with happiness now. Been a good day.
