gratitude

What I like about today:
I ate soup I made out of vegetables I grew.
My retrievers' ears - soft and silky with just a little bit a burrs to prove they're retrievers.
I have enough $ to help my sister-in-law out with her college expenses. She is a single mom of 3 and helping her makes me feel like John D. Rockafeller.
Cool rain prevents me from working outside and make house extra cosy.
Beautiful goldenrod and asters on table.
A friend called to ask me to join our group for Fri. PM supper at a local restaurant.
Thanks to going to Ohio Gathering last weekend I found out DS people are real and wonderful.
Sacred Harp sing on Sunday to look forward to.
Choice of clothes to put on - they may be from Goodwill, but they're clean dry and reasonably attractive.
Cinnamon scented candle -no, make that cinnamon scented anything.
Knowing I'l see my darling one day and he'll take me by the hand and show me all the universes he has traveled to. He'll explain, I won't understand, but I'll stand there grinning 'til my teeth dry out. (if teeth dry out in heaven)
My students, especially kindergartners, even though they're putting the age on me. Crazy cute! Also crazy!
I get a little better by fits and starts.
