Yesterday I went walking at a neaby park. Next to the park is a man-made lake that sits at a depression, so I walked down to get close to it. Something about seeing water with it's softly rolling currents, obeying the wills of the wind, has always been calming to me. Makes me withdraw inward into a sort of sensory isolation of sorts. The pepertual and effortless compliance of water to a gentle wind is soothing to me.
