Moving forward

I've been invited by the colon cancer department at my local hospital, to take part in workshops, to help improve care for newly diagnosed bowel cancer patients.
The first workshop takes place this Thursday 17th march, and we will be discussing, ways on improving the information doctors give, when telling patients they have cancer.
Ive sometimes struggled with the idea, why or how i got cancer, and ive realised i will probably never know why, but one thing i'm sure about is that i can do something positive regarding cancer in the future. It might only be on a small personal level, but its my way of giving something back to help me go forward.
