Alone

I feel so alone right now. I feel like I am standing in a barren waste land of emotion, unable to find the sustenance to carry on. My heart, withered and dry, is laying like a stone on the ground. Silent. Little by little the time wears pieces away, crumbling erosion that is stripping away my humanity. 
A mother, partner, companion but never lover.
