So much to do. I have abolutely NO IDEA what I was thinking coming into work today. I am going home here in just a bit.I told my 8 year old last night. She was so strong! I am amazed how strong she was and is. She was more concerned with James and me. What an absolute angel.I still have so much to do and so many phone calls to make. So hard to do. I have been recieving some great support from my friends and I am truly, truly thankful. I have this one friend, the one who always makes me laugh...we were on the phone last night talking for almost two hours! He is such a wonderful person, he has been there so much for me. He made a joke about how his phone company was going to initiate an investigation to see if it was him using the line because he doesn't usually make long distance calls. I feel so bad about that! I know it is going to be expensive for him! I told him I wouldn't do that anymore to him, it would be on my dime next time. He is such a treasure to me though. He lets me laugh if I need to laugh, he is always the one making me laugh! He lets me cry if I need to cry. He lets me talk if I need to talk and he talks to me if I just need someone to listen to. Really not sure what I did to deserve him, wish I knew so I can keep it up! :>)I knew my mom was going to go, I just thought I had at least a few more years with her. I wasn't prepared for this. I still am not prepared for this. I am having a very hard time dealing with it all. I find that I have to keep telling myself to breathe. And then take another breath, and another. I can feel her here with me and I can see her and hear her. My mom never sugar coated anything for me. She would tell me flat out...You are gonna be fine. Quit crying. She never pulled any punches with anyone. She wasn't the sweet sappy mom who coddled me with kisses and hugs and "it will be alright". She did do that for my girls though. One of the things I am forever grateful for was the fact that I never hung up the phone or left her presence without telling her I loved her. Never, not even when I was a little girl. I know she knows I love her. I just wish I was there for her more. My friend just sent me an email...oh how that man makes me smile!!! He knows just what to say and how to say it. I am telling you, he is an angel.I want to thank everyone for all the support I have recieved and all the hugs, a true blessing. DS has been something very, very wonderful.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family right now.
You should not be at work, when my dad passed I took a month off, I had the time. Its never easy loosing a parent, I said this before, but they take a piece of you with them and you never feel the same way again. It does get better but it never goes away. Some times my mind will wonder and I will start thinking about dad. The next thing I know I have tears running down my cheek. It does not take much and it can happen at the weirdest time. The more it hurts the more you realize how much you loved your mom and she knew it and even if she didn\'t well she does now. I have been where you are as have many of us but if you need to chat let me know.
I am sorry for your loss, I am going through a divorce too and I don\'t know what I would do if I lost a parent on top of it. prayers to you and th kids!
I truly am so sorry for your loss. My dad passed away a few years ago and the whole experience is like a bad dream you can\'t seem to wake up from. I\'m so happy for you that you have someone who makes you smile!!
So sorry for your loss.
