Well here it is...THURSDAY!!  What a great day!  I woke up this morning (after a very restless sleep) and thanked God for all the blessings in my life!  My mom had a very difficult night last night.  She keeps having muscle spasms and they are painful.  She had an upset tummy as well.  I think the upset tummy has to do with some of the meds she is on.  Her husband is trying to get her into the hospital here to have another MRI.  Her private nurse that comes out 3 times a week seems to think she has too much fluid on her spine.  But.....my point I was trying to make before I went into all that was...my children are healthy and so am I.  I am grateful that I still have my mother, although it is very painful to she her in her condition.  I am glad that I am there to help her and be with her.  Something I was not able to do when I was married to Dave.  There are so many things I am grateful for today.  Being able to be there for my mom (and of course my children) are at the top of that list!  My friends are at the top of that list as well.  I am very grateful for the support system I have.

Life really does throw some curve balls, but I guess what is important is what you do with it.  I am choosing to live my life to the fullest and do what I can for whoever needs and wants my help.  I am trying to make time for me, but that is very difficult.  I do, however, have a hair appt today.  I have no idea what I am going to do yet, I just want to do something for me.

Whenever you think don't know how you are going to survive, just remember that there are people out there in the world that are worse off than you.  You, after all, have a wonderful support system here at DS.  We are all here for you and love you.  smiley-kiss.gif
