Today turned out to be quite a good day, an old friend came over to visit with her son and grandaughter. I've not seen any of them for about 2 years so was lovely to catch up. She got lost on the way and ended up doing about an hours detour so didn't get to stay as long as originally planned but it was still nice catching up and finding out what was going on in her life. She's planning on coming over again one day next week on her own and stopping over. Now that I really am looking forward too. If all goes to plan she'll come over on Thurs and we'll go out for a few drinks to start the weekend early.Tomorrow we're going to a garden party. My husbands grandad is 80 on Tuesday so it's a celebration for him. He's a lovely man and I'm looking forward to it and seeing all the rest of the family.
