I'm feeling much better today. Yesterday I started off feeling crappy but by lunchtime all was looking up. First my friend that I went over to visit Sunday sent me a HUGE bouquet of flowers, just to say she enjoyed seeing me again Sunday, and she hopes we can do it again soon. I thought it was a lovely gesture and it really put a smile on my face. An hour or so after that a friend of mine called and asked me to go over, I was really reluctant as I just didn't want to see anyone, she wouldn't take no for an answer and sent her other half over to pick me up. We drank coffee, chatted and I played with her wee baby, well not so wee, he's 9months old now. After I mentioned I was lighting the bbq for dinner, well faces lit up and I had them all back here, so my quiet day ended with a bbq for 8 people. I've come to the conclusion that if I just sit at home and wallow I'm never going to feel any better, and no matter how much it takes me to leave the house I'm going to do it. So today she's taking me shopping. I need a bigger vase for my flowers and perhaps I might treat myself to some nice bath stuff for later. My only problem with shopping is the walking. Walking past the end of my garden gate is hard for me and my occupational therapist says I shouldn't do it an should take my wheelchair. Well that's not an option today, she has a baby to push and I have to get to her house alone on the bus. So today I shall be walking around with the aid of my crutches of course, but I'm gonna do it. I'm going to take a suppy of pain killers with me just in case I need them and I know I'll be exhausted by tonight, but maybe just maybe, I'll sleep better for being so tired.
