Answered Prayers   There is joy in my heart, and it demands immediate release!  Pastor K approached me after Sunday service to let me know that the wife has agreed to a meeting this week.  I immediately sought out the senior pastor to set a tentative date.  Looks like Tuesday evening.  I have no idea what to expect, but I will trust in God to put the right words in my mouth when the time comes.     What an awesome anointing upon Pastor K.  I frankly thought her mission was Herculean, at best.  She never thought so, and reminded me of Christ’s assertion in Luke, “Nothing is impossible with God.”   How easily I’ve (again) underestimated his awesome power.  My eyes comprehend the greatness of all He’s created, yet my soul at times forgets His place in my life.  I’m reminded of a sermon in which the preacher chided his flock for praying, then getting caught unprepared when those prayers were answered.  What I thought was going to take months to accomplish, the Lord, via Pastor K, resolved in two or three meetings.     Let me therefore prepare for this blessing and approach it with a humble heart.  Lord, flush away the pride in my heart, and let my wife and I come to you bereft of any ego.  Remind us that this holy bond serves you, and let it be for your pleasure that we preserve it.  I pray this in Jesus's name. Amen.
