Collateral DamageThere are few in my life that  know the burden I carry.  Most of those line up on one or the other side of the battle, and so it is difficult for me to completely trust their opinions.  What remains is the presence of my God, in the form of my church.  I have stood ready to face that scrutiny, faithful to my knowledge of God's wisdom therein.  The wife is resistant, and so the storm continues.  As it turns, others are swept up into its chaos.  I send my prayers out to them tonight.  Against my better judgement, I will keep this page open for all to see.  I do this for the one who suffers for Li'l G.  She suffers needlessly.  As awful as the storm is for yours truly and the wife, the Lord's mighty hand holds it beneath our son's radar.  I know this by the smile that he wears every minute of the day.  I hear it in his constant and easy laugh.  You should know how I value laughter.  I believe that it is an indicator of a truly bright spirit.  My beautiful son was only a few months old when I first heard that wonderful sound come from him.  You don't know the joy that came to my heart in that moment.  I tell you this now to assure you that your worst-case scenario will never play out.  Your experience, tragic as it was, was unique to you.  Be at peace, and know that God is assembling his angels to intervene in His time.  Pray for us.  He will hear you.  GDAD

This sounds very personal to me for all those concerned and I trust in a mighty God that can heal deep wounds, turn things around and bridge gaps that need to mend.
I will pray for God\'s will to be done. My spirit wanted me to respond in this way.
