Captain's log...Marriage is a ship upon the sea that is my wife. I am its captain. It is said that a good captain weathers the worst storms and never loses his love for the sea.Well...I ran my ship aground Friday night for fear I would lose her otherwise. The next morning, the seas calmed enough to allow me to inspect the damage. There are cracks that I should have tended to years ago, and one particularly bad fissure that might go straight to the keel. That one could be fatal. Still, in all, the vessel appears to be seaworthy. I hear the current gently lapping against the hull. The tide is coming up, inviting me to set sail.I refuse to board. I've spent too many days lashed to the wheel, and I am weary. The sea grows angry, and throws spray in my face. I brush it away. "Tomorrow," I whisper in an unconvincing tone. "I'll weigh anchor tomorrow."

I pray that you find the peace, comfort and love that you so desire. Do not give in to society ways, but endure the patience of love\'s passion and remember that it\'s the chemical imbalance that makes you not know the woman you fell in love with many years ago. I Cor. 13:4-7 is the guidebook that finds true love!
