What Is Happening To Our World? I search to be truly inspired,For peaceful words to naturally flow.Instead I see the world on fast-forward,With people to see, places to go. Life guaranties to be excessively full,And beauties aren’t wondered upon.With so much toxic ugly pollution,Our world we share will soon be gone. All animals have the right to a life,And what we are doing is taking it away.Cramping them in cages and sheds,Treating them like machines that just lay. Destruction clouds overpowering the sky,Heaven’s journey is filled with hate.Tales of war become breaking news,Countries have no love to demonstrate. Starvation is filling the weakest child's soul,If they grow up it will be a life of pain.The next generation will be born,And so the harsh cycle will start again. Share a smile, pass on a blessing,You might just make someone's day.This world won't be able to suffer much more,So let's create a joined caring way. Stand tall and let you're opinions fly,But just remember to listen to another’s.It’s not too late to change this world,We just need to learn to live with each other.I still search to be truly inspired,To pen together my one time masterpiece.I will slow down and appreciate life,Sharing my smiles with you and achieve peace.
