THANK YOU!!!!
First I need to thank you all for keeping in touch...........It's meant the world to me and secondly I need to apologise........ because I pretty much ran away from online feeling like I was too much of a trigger to be here. My PTSD help has been a bittersweet experience, but I am so happy to be on the other side of the curve now. So much I've discovered and remembered about me and my dreams. I didn't realize how much the PTSD had taken from me. Abuser's (probably abused as well) have only one thing in mind..... Destroy you to somehow ease their own pain. It's hard if not impossible to wrap your head around that since a more human reaction is to want to make a difference and keep abuse from happening to even one more child or adult. I pray I never really understand their thinking, but only those who have gone through abuse have the insight to grasp what a mental mess an abuser can cause. They take away your essence and the world at large, does not understand....... living in their protected little world. Too often judgement is passed on the victim (hopefully Survivor, at some point). Sometimes it is a victim themself passing judgement, because that is the only way they know how to deal with it and too often it is people who are abuser's themselves, wanting to cover their own sin's. Our only fault is letting them steal our dreams because we don't have the evil heart that they do. Too damn bad if people do not want to hear about abuse, it needs to be in their face until it can be ended. Perhap's a pipe dream, but one less victim is a success!!!! Never give up...... giving up is the one thing that holds the key to abuse being able to survive and proliferate. The greatest gift I've gotten from my PTSD group is TRUST....... I trust the women in there, they are human like me, but I trust them and that is a feeling I had forgotten how to feel. Like all things...... all it takes is a seed that has a willingness to grow. God Bless you all and God Bless the VA for helping me........... I was sooooooo close to wearing a toe tag, that I cannot describe how much I scared myself. My mind was lost in a maze........ It's not my fault, the people responsible would not take responsibility, no restitution, no resolve.......... Where the hell do you find peace and safety?? How do you account for all the holes in your life that you spent the time seeking shelter instead of experiencing love and fufillment? Big questions with unique answers for each of us. I can only hope to be the blessing in here, that you have all been to me. Huggggggggggggggs, Molly
