Blah
I didn't feel like doing a journal yesterday. Geo was sleeping, and so I didn't want to wake him up by turning on the lights, and I didn't want to get out of bed to go to the living room. So I just stayed in bed and didn't do one. I didn't do anything of note yesterday, just had a day of a little less hallucinations. I didn't even get outside to do my walk since I wasn't feeling well. I just cooked dinner and that was it. Uneventful day.
Today I was so mad at my boss. He called me on Friday and made it seem like I was desperately needed at the Information Desk today. He told me he needed me to come from 12-3:30 to make sure the desk was covered. I woke up this morning feeling so out of it that I thought I was going to faint, and having severe stomach cramps. I didn't want my boss to think I wasn't dependable, so I forced myself to go in, despite how bad I felt. I get there and there are 3, yes count them, 3 volunteers at the 2- seat Information Desk, not counting our boss. 2 of them spoke Spanish, and the third did nothing all day. I was the only one who could cover for Daisy (our boss) so I stayed. But I wasn't needed. They have employees to cover her. I just felt so mad that my boss made it seem like there wasn't going to be anyone there and I was the only one who could cover. I'm sure I'll get over it, but for now I'm in a rant and rave mode about it.
Geo was napping when I got home, so I just let him be. He hasn't been sleeping well lately, and so whatever sleep he can get is good. He's been getting about 4 hours of sleep a night, even with the klonopin our doctor gave him to sleep. He slept until 9pm. I made dinner at 6:30, so it was cold, but he can heat it up. I just wanted him to have as much sleep as he could. We didn't have anything to watch on TV tonight anyway. On Wednesday we are going over to his dad's house for the 4th, and then the next day we are going out again for his little brother's birthday. I don't know if I will be able to go to work tomorrow... it just depends on how I feel when I wake up. I'm going to try and go to sleep early tonight so I can wake up on time to get to work. I want to wake up around noon so I can be in by 1. I want to work in Managed Care tomorrow, so I'm going to try and avoid the Information Desk. It's going to be hard, but I think I can do it. I know that the women in Managed Care need me more than the Information Desk with 3 volunteers.
Mood today was okay... I felt good mentally, but horrible physically. I don't know what happened to me this morning.. I feel like I was drugged. I took my regular meds last night, so I don't think it's that. I've been taking the new routine for a couple days now and waking up fine. Then again, I've also been able to sleep more and take naps. I tried taking a nap today but couldn't. I just couldn't get my mind to shut off. Not manic-y, but just couldn't get to sleep. It was too hot to take a walk... it was 89 degrees when I got home. I wish it was cooler in the evenings so I could go for a walk, but it doesn't cool off here more than 10 degrees at night. I just feel better when I can walk. I'm kinda glad that I didn't, since my stomach was still on the fence and I didn't want to be a mile away from home and -really- needing to use the bathroom and not be able to wait. But my stomach calmed down, and I was able to eat dinner without incident.
Food today was good... I'm a couple calories under my minimum, but it's nothing big. I'm going to have a couple big meals this week, so it's good that I save some calories for those days. The 4th I know I'm going to be eating at Geo's dad's place, so I won't be able to control the food. They make pretty healthy stuff anyway. I just have to stay away from the sweets. I had my regular breakfast of a mini bagel with peanut butter, lunch was a casserole of broccoli and rice covered with cheese, and I had grilled chicken breast with pasta for dinner. I could eat something more if I needed to, but I'm not hungry. I ate the chicken around 7 when it was done, and waited to cook the pasta until 8 because I didn't know when Geo was going to wake up. So it was like my dinner was split into 2 smaller meals. I haven't gotten enough water today and my skin is showing it. It's so dry. I've been drinking between 8-10 glasses of water lately, but with all the heat it's not enough. I guess I should try more Gatorade.

I get your wanting to rant. for your boss to call you and tell you he needs you when he had 3 people working ... i would be upset too. However, think of it this way. maybe your the one he trusts the most.
keep up eating right. sounds like you are doing great with that. Since you can\'t walk what about using the pool? is it to hot for that too?
I find i haven\'t been drinking enough water lately either.. we\'ll both have to work on that. Take care hope you are doing better
Enjoy your family on the 4th of july
