Bed

I can't seem to get out of bed lately. I wake up, eat something, try and go back to sleep but don't for a bit. Then I get up, go to the gym (and the pool today) and then come back, eat, and take a nap. I wake up to make dinner and then stay out of bed for a couple hours while I make dinner and watch TV with Geo. Then I come back to bed and do my journals, talk on the phone and go to sleep. It's the depression, I know it is. I need to do something tonight to try and get in touch with my emotions, since I didn't write last night. I don't feel like writing tonight at all, at least poetry.
I'm sunburned. I went to the pool today after the gym... it's like I knew I was going to be in bed all day, so I just wanted to try and get as much exercise in when I was up and moving as I could to justify being in bed. I did make a good dinner tonight- I cut up some chicken and made some stir-fry. Geo still had the baked chicken, so I did double-duty in the kitchen, but besides the rice being a disaster, it was good. The back burner wasn't working, so my rice turned into mush instead of fluffy rice. It's funny- I don't feel tired and depressed right now, but when I wake up in the morning it's going to be hard for me. Maybe I should have coffee in the morning to try and get myself started. I like coffee... I just don't want to commit to being out of bed to drink it. I think that should be my goal for the week- to get up and make coffee and be out of bed for an hour in the morning before going back to bed. I have to be reasonable- I know I'm going to go back to bed so if I say don't go back at all, I'm going to fail. I don't want to fail, it would just make the depression worse.
Food- Today I was pretty good on food, since I was bad yesterday. I had a leftover piece of chicken for breakfast along with one donut, some salad, a peach and a banana for lunch, some rice for a snack and the stir-fry for dinner. It was just some cut up chicken thigh with some frozen stir fry veggies I heated. It was really yummy, though, and it hit the spot for my Chinese food craving. I used low sodium chicken broth and soy sauce so hopefully tomorrow I won't retain a bunch of water for my weigh-in. I have been trying to drink my 64 ounces of water a day and doing pretty good at it.
