Day 38
Well it has been a long time since my last entry, figured its about time I wrote something!
I have been busy, not that its an excuse. I was away in Mexico 2 weeks ago, spent an amazing week in Los Cabos, soaking up some sun and having some drinks, not having a thing in the world to worry about. It was amazing! Unfortunately, near the end of my trip I got pneumonia, so the last two days of the trip I wasn't feeling well. The trip home was very long and hard in my condition, arrived home at 5:30am on Sunday being very short on sleep and food. Found out Sunday that I was full time this past week so that made it even harder to recover from the pneumonia... which I didn't even find out officially until Tuesday night - so it was Wewdnesday before I started taking antibiotics. I still managed to work all week, but it was rough, I got home and either made dinner or ate leftovers, and pretty much went straight to bed around 8 each night.
I am feeling much better now though, almost over it completely, just a little hard to breathe. So needless to say, I haven't really been thinking about gambling or anything, just happy to get away and happy to be getting my health back now.
Money will be tight for a few weeks because of the vacation, but once I start getting the full time paychecks in March (yes the pay schedule is really far behind) we should be able to start saving up once again... still lots of other things to pay for soon, water softener, need some stone fro the patio in the spring and more landscaping to do in the backyard... it never ends!
Another issue we are facing though is Alisons work. She really wants to leave her job but feels she has to stay because my hours arent consistent enough. She also is very stressed about possibly working for herself, and wants help from me but I don't know how to help her. I can see this possibly becoming a big problem but anytime we try to talk about it it just gets frustrating for both of us, so then we avoid the topic for a while and then it builds up until it blows up again. I'm really not sure what to do. Anytime I try to find a solution Alison finds a reason it wont work and is constantly negative.
