While Heinze and I were walking I heard loud footsteps behind us. A deer had come to join our walk and stayed with us for a bit - until Heinze decided he would rather chase the little guy. I think Heinze really wants to play with them:) They just don't know it. We have quail around here too - cute little birds with feathers sticking out of the top of their little heads (not too scientific a description but you know what I mean). It is baby chick time now. 20+ baby chicks follow each mama Quail everywhere - in a straight line. It is hillarious watching them cross the street. Apparently forgetting something repeatedly they cross over and back and over and back - and over - in a sort of Keystone Cops manner with all 20+ chicks behind. Just too cute.

I feel I know Heinze completely through your descriptions. :) For some reason I can\'t read your previous journal entry, the site throws me off every time saying \"Error\". Hmmm. This is what make you so cool, a simple thing of nature you enjoyed seeing. Got to love it. I was in the Pocono mountains to bring a car back and on a country road a black bear just wondered across the street, I stopped as he just walked by and I had to call my daughter in the excitement of moment.. wish she was with me..=(

Yes Bill - how cool is that we now have cell phones that take pictures? Hey Suze - my other journal was deleted by DS - it was about - - well I better not say. Someone was very angry at me and posting it all over the place = so I mentioned that here - no name - I guess the DS Gods got mad:) Thanks you guys - If you all come to my town - I would love to take you on a tour with Heinze. We\'ll go walk with the deer and the birds. It is a lovely place.
