WOW - I just "got" something. A friend wrote on her journal that her son had taught her how to love unconditionally and without fear. This friend always gives me pause to think. The love I have for my son is so different than that I have for anyone else. There's not a chance in the world that it will end so I have no fear and I can love him completely. What a gift children are - without my son I may have never learned to love completely. I feel the same about his children - Chloe and Aiden. The love I feel for them is not going to end - and I can love them completely too. It's funny how grandchildren just know how much you love them - there is a link to our children and to our children's children, like no other. It is full of light and, of course, love.
