While walking with Heinze he surveys the land for the best gopher spot - it is his passion. When he finds a good gopher hole he pounces and waits...... Patience is not his best virtue however - this is Heinze with his head IN the gopher hole. He is so funny. We missed this incredible sunset last night - it was blazing across the sky but we left late and did not get down to the ocean to watch. This sunset literallly shimmered - it was awesome. My house is getting in better order - and that feels so much better. I'm still eating everything that is not nailed down it seems - I keep thinking that if I walk it won't count - it counts. But I'll get a handle on it soon. Thank you for commenting on my pictures. When I walk I look for beautiful things to photograph so that I can bring them back and share them with you - that is very fun for me. Soon we're going to walk through the forest onto the open hills again - the hills are now green and soon they will be covered with yellow and purple wild flowers. For 3 years I have not looked around at this beauty - I am so glad I can see it now. We did get down to the ocean today. They have whale watching excursions in the little town next to mine and it is possible to go out into the ocean to get real close to those huge mammels. However, today there were several people out on the bluffs because the whales were swimming fairly close - it was awesome - we would see a sort of mushroom like water spout go into the air and see a little bit of the whales rolling by. It gave me chills. Having you in mind when I'm taking my pictures has made me notice the beauty around me - thanks for acknowledging my photos. I do so appreciate my friends. Thanks. Ok well Heinze is whining - it's late and he thinks he can't go to sleep unless I'm in bed:) What would I do if I had a man in my life? Fat chance:) Night night.
