I had Thanksgiving at my son's house. Chloe and I blew bubbles in the back yard and played with Buddy, their dog. Aiden sat in his high chair smiling, gurgling - and squealing. The day was slightly warm with a cool breeze and watching the falling leaves riding on the breeze fascinated Chloe - we watched them for a long time together.Heinze and I are loving the walks through the forest behind my home - it is magical back there. We found new trails that lead us to the ocean and others that lead us to other hills where we can see forever. We're also finding more gophers for Heinze in the open fields - he lives for the chance to pounce on a gopher - which never happens but he thinks it will - so he's fine with endlessly pouncing on empty gopher holes - he is too funny. I'm liking his walk as much as he does now.The lady that lives next door had some trees taken down so the ocean is becoming more visible from my kitchen/dining room/deck. I'm going to see if I can have a wall taken out and have windows put there (if I can). For some reason the former owners cut off 50% of the view with a big wall (some people!).Ok - I'm off to read some journals and see how you all are doing. MMMmmmmmmm....to have even a little bit of ocean in my daily view would be awesome! Glad you enjoyed your Thanksgiving, as well as these walks with your Heinze.
I\'m glad your Thanksgiving was so nice. I\'ve always thought of myself as a mountain/inland girl...but to hear you talk of the ocean...it just makes me want to be there. :)

Boy, that would be so awesome to live or have view of the ocean. I too would rather have a big window than a wall.

Yes, some people......can\'t imagine obstructing a view of the water unless there had to be some safety reason involved...??
Yes, saw the Oprah Show and was horrified......felt sorry for the entire family.
That show helped me to realize it was now or never.....am cleaning from top to bottom, one room at a time. The Kitchen has always been the most complex room for me, because it\'s truly a work room in addition to everything else....
