16 years on from the bombing

This weekend is the anniversary of a very sad time for local people to me it is the anniversary of the Warrington bombing, which wont mean a lot to most of you but to me it was a sad day. I never knew the two young boys that were killed but one of my friends from school did, she was the girlfriend of Tim Parry, who sadly died aged 12. Now you might wonder why Im bringing this up - well here's my story, that Saturday was the first time I'd been allowed to the cinema on my own. I was 12 and with a group of friends, we'd traveled to the next town and were happily watching our film, only to hear a masive explosion half way through and be evacuated. As we were being evacuated there was another load explosion and glass flew everywhere, with screams and shouts we fell to the floor. I was so lucky to keep my life that day, we were evacuated straight into the line of fire of the second bomb. Two young boys were not so lucky. 3 year old Jonathon Ball died instantly and 12 year old Tim Parry a few days later in hospital.  Please remember the families of these two boys in your prayers and remember how lucky we all are to be alive
