great.
Found out last night that the condition my doctor thinks I may have has a pregnancy loss rate double that of the regular population, and I will only have a short window to carry a full term pregnancy if I do have it. I cried all night, it's so hard to imagine going through this again, people with Adenomyosis are more likely to lose their baby in the 2nd and 3rd trimester, which would mean another stillbirth, and I don't think I can handle that. Well, shit, I said I couldn't handle losing my rainbow but I handled that.
It's very scary. but it also motivates me to lose this weight and get myself healthy so I can start TTC asap. I may not be ready but I would rather take a chance than risk never having a baby. It's so ironic how I never wanted a baby til I lost Sophia, and now I would give both legs for a guarantee that I will have a living baby eventually. EVERYTHING WILL BE OK!! EVERYTHING WILL BE OK!!
I really pray I can lose at least 50 pounds in the next year. It sucks but I will not get pregnant until I know I am in the best possible health so I can give my baby a good start, the odds are already against us so I have to do all I can. I would love nothing more than to be healthy and bring a little miracle into my world and just make up for lost time.
At least this time around I have real motivation to lose this weight n get HEALTHY. And I can't put it off til later, cause there might not BE another chance to get pregnant. I think I'm going to start carrying around Sophia's ultrasound picture and everytime I want to eat junk food or skip exercising I'm going to look at it and remember how happy I was the day it was taken, and remind myself that if I ever want that again I have to get in shape and get ready for her little sister/brother.
I guess when God is really trying to get your attention he takes off the gloves.

Yes, he does... I\'ve lost quite a bit this academic year. The classroom I work in is on the third floor and the children\'s bathrooms are in the basement. I work with little ones who are ages 3 - 5. When one of the little ones has to go to the bathroom I pick him/her up and run down the stairs then I run up again. I have dropped from an XL to a medium. If I can do it... you can.
I truly admire your positive outlook. I have faith that in time we will all have our rainbows.
