ggrrr. I want to run over my evil half sister with a truck. I'm being serious.
long story short: my dad had an emergency gall bladder surgery on Thursday, we all rushed over there to be with him. She refused to take him back to her house to heal, and my sister Sarah already has two babies and 4 other adults living in her 3 bedroom town house, so she couldn't do it. Normally I'd be totally happy to care for my dad, (who is 69), except I live in a town house with the bathroom and bedrooms upstairs, and I was worried about my dad trying to get up and down the stairs with a tube in his freaking stomach.
But I got ready for him anyway, she swooped in and picked him up and took him to her house with no warning or explanation. Then I realized why. That night she called me telling me I had better give her my dad's credit card number and medicare number so she could get his prescriptions. I did, because I had his wallet. THE NEXT MORNING 8AM SHARP she calls me twice in a row and leaves me a nasty voicemail blaming me for having his wallet and saying he was in pain and the medicare number "didn't pay for shit."
So I rush down there to buy his prescriptions with my own money, unlike her, and take them to him. I found out she had already bought them. The damn liar got caught in another lie right after, claiming the veterans hospital was charging her $80 for another prescriptions and she needed my dad's credit card. That was also a lie, veterans get prescriptions for free up there.
Basically she created a huge dramatic scene so that she could try to get her hands on my poor dad's wallet. I'm just super po'd right now. I can't stand liars and especially people who take advantage of elders and people who disrespect their parents, especially parents who are sick and older. Who tries to rip of a 69 year old man?! That's seriously disgusting and she's foul. I hate when dramatic people cause problems for everyone else.
whooo-saaaa. Ignore the drama!!
