It's Over...
I stuck with my dead line of ending my relationship if I had not heard from my boyfriend in two weeks. Not one single word in two whole weeks...
I sent him the email, short and sweet, saying it was over.
I got no response...
Two days later, I ended up emailing him again because I wanted him to know exactly why I had left. I did get a response and it was, "I love you so damn much but I dont know how to be what you want and need me to be. You should have done it along time ago. Take care".
This was a stab in the heart because he was so willing to give up and so willing to not even try. I dont understand if you love some one, how can you just not put in any effort to make it work and give up so easily?
I am heartbroken. I almost think no response would have been better...

I\'m sorry you\'re going through this, honey. Sounds like he wants to play the victim and not take any responsibility for himself...not someone you want to be in a relationship with. It\'s not really quantum physics... DON\'T ignore your GF and don\'t treat her like she isn\'t important to you. Oh yeah, DON\'T let two weeks go by without calling her. This is very sad, I\'m sorry you\'re going through this, but at least now you have the hope of finding a man who treats you right. This guy doesn\'t sound capable of change.
You made the right choice. He doesnt sound like he was in it gor the long haul. You deserve better!!
Sounds to me like a pretty good cop out on his part so he can play the victim card and not have any guilty feelings. If he really loved you, he would have been man enough to ask you what you needed in your relationship to be happy together. Sounds to me like he has a lot of maturing to do, to even know what genuine caring and love is in a relationship. His response to you screams \"I\'m SO selfish!\" to me... Remember the saying....\"True love is when a person cares more about someone else\'s happiness than their own.\" And, I KNOW there is truly someone out there that will give you the genuine caring and true love that you so truly deserve! Remember....DON\'T ever settle for less than what you deserve! (((Hugs)))
