A am going to try to finish up the back story and get caught up to present, a few days after I found out about the pills I found out she had been seeing another man that she worked with, between the pills and the boyfriend I was shattered. I could not believe she could lead another life behind my back like that, the hurt at that betrayal was almost more than I could take, she threw me and my family away like garbage.

I filed for divorce about a week later, she moved in with the BF and introduced him to my children within days of me finding out. My kids were 4 and 2 at the time, the divorce was fast, I got equal joint custody of my children, and there was plenty of drama to go with the BF, which I later found out also liked pills.

We stayed apart for almost a year, I dated a few people, but my heart was never there, I had so much resentment and anger in me that I was nearly consumed by it. She told me many times that she stopped the pills, but there was no way for me to know. She came to me one day and asked if we could ever reconcile, she cried, seemed so sincere, and we prayed.

I gave here several ultimatums that day, things she would have to do for me, quit the job she had as her BF was her boss, find a job back in town where I know people for accountability, no pills, and no more associations with her friends out of town. She did all of this fairly quickly, but as we spent time together I could see she was high on many occasions. She always said her back hurt, and that she had just gotten a few pills from her doctor.

We joined a church, went to marriage counseling with the preacher, and remarried despite a few hiccups along the way, her BF would call her on occasion, and I would find an empty pill bottle on occasion, but as far as the pills she could lie to me very well, and I had gotten to the point that I didn't make a big deal out of it everytime, there was no use, she was going to do what she wanted regardless, so I picked my battles.
