Hey everyone. For those of you who read these thanks. Update: Today I went to visit a good friend of mine, known her since 9th grade. Shes getting married soon, and Im so happy for her, yet at the same time I cant help but to think it isn't going to work for her. I love her dearly, and for her sake I hope things do work, but geesh ... Anyway, the dresses she wanted me in.. didn't fit lo and behold. -sigh- So we went shopping -sigh- She took me to JC Penneys... they dont cater to big women. So of course Im in there trying things on... none fit. Imagine my self image after that... *poof* GOOD BYE CONFIDENCE. So she saw my about in tears, and took me into a different store. Lane Bryant... I love that store now. I felt so badly coming out of Penneys I just wanted to come home and cry. WEll thankfully, Lane Bryant was having a sell on dresses, so she bought it for me, and it looks nice. I still feel so bad about myself though. Ive tried losing weight, but it always comes back. I try exercising, but my joints start to hurt so badly.. not EVEN funny. I eat less, but it doesn't seem to help, and it hurts. I couldn't help but to think back to all the kids who picked on me in school about my size, so here I sit. Crying. Tyrone says he likes me the size I am, but if he liked it so much... would he ask me to stay clothed so much? Others have said they think Im beautiful regardless, but... I can't help but to think they're only saying it to make me smile.   Im really down about it. Im crying even. I know Im not the prettiest thing out there, hell, I wouldn't want to be. I just want to be able to walk into a store, and try on something beautiful. BEcause let's face it... the clothes they make for big girls nowadays... aren't beautiful. They just slap a pattern on there, and tie it up... and expect us to wear it. PLease, someone tell me why big girls cant have beautiful clothes too..? Another thing that gets me too is our clothes are much more expensive! -sigh- Extra material I guess, but it's not right. Ive heard so many people say " Don't like your size, well then go on a diet you fat ass" Ouch. I may be a big girl, but I have feelings too. Treat me like a human!!

Oooo, sorry to hear you\'re feeling bad. I know what you mean. I have to buy most things through the Sears Big & Tall catalog. At least there I don\'t have to try things on in front of people.

I\'ve battled weight problems for most of my life, I weighted a 195 pounds when I was seventeen. The saying i heard was \" She\'s such a pretty girl if she could only loose the weight\" Oh.... how I hated that saying!!!! I went away to college and lost a lot of weight. i went down to 115 pounds. I had not been home for about 5 months and I told no one about my diet. I cut my long hair and steaked it. When I came home next my father picked me up at the train station and he walked right by me. I said hi, dad, and he just lloked at me as if i was a stranger. I got that reaction from all my friends and aquaintances. i maintaned my weight until I became depressed with bipolar 15 years ago. and due to the meds and my lack of exercise my weight went up to 150 I am still doing battle with the bulge. I exercise on my own treadmill everyday and I am on a diet. i hope to loose 25 or 30 pounds by the end of Mar. that is when we go on our cruise. that\'s an incentive. I know how frustrating it is to find nice clothes that fit you nicely and actualy help to hide some of the problem areas. i have discovered a magazine that targets women in their forties and up. there are no skinny little models it uses real people with styles that fit real people. It is called More. I sympathize with you. Be well, debbie
