Well today was my first day on Polk county Fire and EMS dispatch. It was challenging and I loved every second of it! Though, when I walked through the door to get home, my braind literally shut down, and I went straight off to sleep. -sigh- Not physically demanding but mentally just... rough as hell. Tomorrow I am at it again, and looking forward to it, though I know now to get more sleep, and be fully alert the second I hit those doors. For those of you who have used 911 services, or work as EMT or Fire rescue in Polk County today, you most likely heard me at one point or another trying to get everyone taken care of. Heh.
