Today was truly a good day, except for now I am so worried that my friend is in need. I spent all of today with her, and we were having a great time. Then her bi polar boyfriend went all .... ick.... and threatened to kill himself if she didnt send me home. I dont know what the hell is up with him, but hey whatever I guess. I dont like him much anyways, but I do worry for Shawn. In other news, I got to bring home 4 new corsets (I'm addicted to them) I may even post pictures of them. Im not sure yet. Theyre all beautiful though.  Went on a job interview Friday morning. It was a pretty good day. Hopefully they call me with the job offer because Lord and country knows I need the money so badly. That, and Im so tired of being dependent. I really want to pull my own weight, to provide for myself, and even have a little spending money. Course, I already have priorities that need to be addressed before I can start spoiling myself. Such as, getting the job to save the money to get the things I need to then eventually have enough left over to spoil myself with new corsets!!!! lol. See? My logic works so well.  Now here is where I am going to speak straight from my heart. I talked to my boyfriend today. I told him straightforward that I feel a little smothered by him. He promised to back off, and even leave it up to me as to if/when he comes back. I like that. Good God, he spoiled me all weekend. I LOVED that so much. See, because of my depraved of attention childhood, I crave it from my boyfriend now. He is willing to give it to me too so it works out. -purrs- Tyrone even took me out to a movie, fed me, took such good care of me... even helped me out with my blood sugar.   Now I must ask a question. Who can truly tell me the difference between loving someone, and being in love with someone? I have my own little definition, but at the same time I want to know how others define it. So write me comments and let me know.(in case youre all wondering Tyrone is NOT the same fella who hurt me from previous journal entries)

Sounds like you had a great day! I don\'t know what to tell you about your question. Maybe... You are in love with someone when your heart aches for them.

I think being in love with someone is the blind part of love, which is both good and bad. It feels so good, you get and give love readily, spoil each other, forgive and overlook wrongs (which is both good and bad) spend time and money on each other, but it also fades away over a period of time. Then the true love begins. The rubber meets the road. And as the relationship progresses, you either depart, or keep investing in true love.
True love sees the quirks, the faults, the \"real person\" you\'ve become involved with. And you decide whether or not to continue the relationship. For some reason, this usually seems to happen about three months into it.
If you decide to continue, you keep building and investing in true love. With both eyes wide open, hopefully. You decide on a daily basis what is forgiveable, what you can put up with, and what you will not. It took me 2 years into one of my relationships with someone I lived with, before I saw just how cold and mean they really could be. So take your time, and in time, you will know. In the meantime, enjoy!!

I\'m not sure if I can answer your question. For me being in love with someone means you take the good, the bad and the ugly.
loving someone takes work and patience. If you don\'t feel like your giving 100% to the relationship then you\"re not giving enough. Boy you like to ask tough questions. Be well, Debbie
