The sky is deep, the sky is dark. The light of stars is so damn stark. When I look up, I fill with fear.If all we have is what lies here,This lonely world, this troubled place, then cold dead stars and empty space...Well, I see no reason to persevere,no reason to laugh or shed a tear,no reason to sleep or ever to wake,no promises to keep, and none to make. And so at night I still raise my eyesto study the clear but mysterious skiesthat arch above us, as cold as stone. Are you there, God? Are we alone?        Thank you warpedandtwisted for posting this up for others like me to read., Im glad you put it up there because I have often wondered if Im the only one to feel this way sometimes.

Your welcome. You are not alone, the poem was taken from \"the book of sorrows\". What can I do to help you through this?

warpedandtwisted, we are not alone, there is much more to this universe and life than you can imagune. Try reading some Sylvia Browne, she will uplift your spirits and fill you with hope and wonder. Excellent books! Be well, Debbie
