Day 1
This is Day 1 of my attempt to beat my anxiety. I have been on Zoloft for three days now and day 2 was the worst. I am ready for these anxiety attacks to stop and to go back to my normal life. I am soooo thankful that I have such a wonderful and supportive husband without him I do not think that I would be able to go on. He trys his absolute best to listen to me and my feelings and never accuses me of being crazy. I don't know what I did to deserve him. I am so thankful that he is a part of my life and has given me three amazing and beautiful baby boys. I am so worried about something happening to him if he does go to Afghanistan. I don't think that I can continue without him, but I will have to for the sake of our children. I am just so ready to be over with this move and back in the states. I am scared about what will happen when he deploys and I am left alone with the three boys by myself. What makes matters worse is that I will not be working because I will be preparing for my student teach. I can't wait to finish school. I am excited about finally being done with school and teaching, but at the same time I worry if I will be a good teacher or not. I think that is about all that I have for now. I will keep this update as to my progess with how I am doing on the medication and with beating my anxiety.

hi brytif01, sometimes it takes up to 6 weeks for the medicine to get into your system. i can understand your fear of of your husband being deployed to Afghanistan. good luck on your teaching. anxiety sucks, i have it too. i also have the fear of wide open spaces, so i stay in all the time. the oly time i go anywhere is to the doctors, and that is with someone. good luck, and God Bless you and your family.
Hi ronna,
I have GAD (general anxiety disorder) It certainly isn\'t any fun that\'s for sure. Right at the present time my Doc seems to have it under control. Also through the Grace Of God! So much has happened this year that has just driven me up the wall. I also have cronic pain from OA. So I can certainly sympathise with you. I am so sorry to hear your husband has to deploy. I hope you get your teaching ok. Hang in there, keep faith in God and hopfully your Doc will find the right medication. I wish for you nothing but the best!
