Thursday

Had a busy day today. Took Dorothy and Mabel to the doctors at 10am, both had more than just a check up. Mabel and a biopsy done on her forehead, will know what is going on there in 2 weeks. Dorothy had her sinus' x-ray, again won't know till next week what is happening there. Didn't get home until after 12pm then made up Mabel's grocery list. She can't see well enough to read the adds, so Dorothy reads them to her then they discuss whether she needs the item. Then off to 3 different grocery stores and the bank. By the time we get Mabel's groceries to her it is 5pm we still have to get Dorothy's groceries to her house and then off to get dinner at Denny's. It was 9:30pm by the time I got home. Dorothy has been having headaches and she got very dizzy just as we got to her house, so I stayed with her for a while to make sure she would be okay. Turns out the doctor told her she needs to have a stent put in to open up her arteries and she has been saying NO. Now I have to talk her into doing what needs to be done. She is afraid of not coming home from the hospital and doesn't want to bother me by having to stay with her even if it turns out ok. I tell it doesn't bother me, after all what else do I have to do, and look I'm staying with her for the first 2 weeks in June anyway, she should have agreed to the surgery along time ago so it could happen while I was there anyway!!! But she is very stubborn and independent. I will get around her some how!
Now for my whining session. My son was home all day today and it is now 10:30pm and he has never called to say he is back from school!!!! I am absolutely dying!!!! I want so badly to call him up and say"What did I do that gives you the right to act this way to me?" "Did I abuse you as a child?did I beat you? was I cruel and just nasty?" "What did I do?" "What is it that your father does that allows you to think of him as the saint me the sinner?" But I can't say anything, I can't even call him. How long do I wait? A week? A month? when? It just isn't right....So I sit here with tears running down my face so I can hardly see. I have a headache that won't quit and I think I may have diverticulitis again. I have a pain in my side to die for. But I can't go to a doctor and will just have to hope it will go away. And all I want is to hear my son's voice, say"Hi Mom".
