I cannot believe that I have been sucked in by such a narcissitic arsehole for so long.Lindsay tells me he is not only still calling Rowena, but that also he took her out to dinner last Thursday night before Lindsays plane got in and then mark introduced Lindsay to her like some prize. Lindsay sees mark as one seriously sick puppy.He spent the weekend asking me if he could move back home after I made no contact with him at all. He phoned on Sat afternoon as he could not find the football tickets and thought I took them. he was sick. I invited Lindsay over after 8 that evening as I had a party to go to and would come home early to see him.Mark and Lindsay came over. Almost walked into my party where Mark was not invited.Mark asked to sleep in my bed but I said absolute no, on the excuse that he was sick but that was not my motive at all.I spoke more to Lindsay who is overwhelmed by it all.Sunday I go rowing. They bike ride. I speak at length with mark when he gets back and wants to duck up stairs for 'nookie'. I remind him that he has not told Rowena that I was at Hamilton and that I am in the same place I was 2 years ago as he is still contacting her. He denies it and begs for us to get it back on track. Begs time and time again. Lindsay asks us for lunch. I had been asking Mark to leave.I told Mark I was going to send an email to Rowena to tell her that I was in Hamilton and that he wants to move home. he gets so agitaged it is not funny.At lunch he fidgets, he gets up and down a thousand times. He mutters.We go to golf. Lindsay and I share a buggy. Lindsay says of his manic state - it it was not such a serious situation it is laughable.They come to the house after golf and when Mark is in the toilet Lindsay lets slip that while they were on the way to lunch in their car, Mark has rung Rowena. That is why they were late to lunch. I was in my own car and waited for ages for them.I say to Mark that I want him to leave. I did not implicate Lindsay and never will, as his life will be in danger if i do. Mark refuses. I then said to Lindsay that I did not want to involve him, but that I must, and would he please be a witness to see that I had asked Mark to leave, that he had been violent to me and that if he would not leave I would get the police. After about 30 minutes Mark leaves. Lindsay stays.I phone Rowena immediately and let her know I have chucked him out and he is all hers. She says of course she has spoken to him earlier and told him to go away. (as usual).Within 3 minutes he is at her house. She must be house sitting in my suburb, as she lives further away than that. I ask her if she is living near and she says yes. I told her he had been telling me wonderful things and her the same. it was no different. He is a liar and I do not want him. He went to her house in a matter of minutes - he has obviously been there recently to know where she lives.Lindsay tells me "when the dust settles, I will tell you some things"I ask him to elaborate.He says mark has had many women. I ask in Townsville? He says well, there was Casey but she was just a fuck buddy and apparently she got sick of it after a while, and did you know he had a girlfriend in Airlie Beach? Apparently they were not on Hayman Island as Mark told me on Friday night, but in fact went to Airlie. Lindsay thought they were perhaps going out to dinner with this woman, and they did, but when they got back, he was given the guest room and Mark and this woman (Jo) went into her room. Lindsay was appalled. The next morning he could not even stay in the house. Lindsay is my friend too and he has listened to mark obsess about Rowena and here he is rooting another woman in the next room and expects Lindsay to shut up about it.He made me swear not to tell Mark about it and I wont tell him what Lindsay told me. He would kill him.Jo - is a patient. A patient. He saw her in May. She lives not far from mackay, where he visits and operates once per month, overnight.He obsesses over Rowena, at the same time screwing Jo and telling me he wants to come home as i am "his wife" and 'the best girl' and clearly 'his future".I toyed with telling Rowena the whole Jo thing, but no. I will get more pleasure from it by leaving it. I had a big problem with not wanting to see the two of them together in town as I felt he was tossing me aside for a younger model and they would be all happy and safe and successful together. That problem for me has vanished. I can look at her on his arm and just smile. For I know what he is doing when he is not with her. I know who he is now. He pulled the glass over my eyes for 26 years. He is charming and believable at his best, that is why he fooled me so well and for so long. But now I know.And out of the woodwork come more people now. Turns out he was screwing this rich older ugly woman early on when in Mackay as it was one of my girlfriends who saw them together. She is a prude and would not tell me to hurt me, but she told my other girlfriend. Jo has money too.Lindsay sees him as addicted to sex. I see him as one sick puppy.I am not calling him. Not answering his texts or calls. No contact. Just with my solicitor. Proceeding to divorce immediately.
