Update
On my visit to my Dr this time I brought my aunt. I had my list of ques so that i'd be prepared. My Dr saw my list and seemed annoyed. Once I started to ask ques, he kept looking at his watch and when I realized he was giving me answers still to my first ques-it became apparent he was not listening. I never got half way thru my ques where he was interupting me. I reminded him I was paying 60 per visit and he then told me any ques I had to refer online and that if I didn't have the financial means,to go somewhere I could get assistance. Not only was I OFFENDED but dumb struck that he had absolutely NO time for me.
I pointed out my last treatment I hadn't recieved all IV fluids. Even tho I tried really hard to stay hydrated I still could not consume enough to prevent dehydration. I asked him to please put it in my orders that I recieve full IV fluids (he ignored me). This time I recieved NO IV fluids AT ALL. My aunt asked the nurse why and she said she had already taken my needle out and she wasn't going to stick me again. She said my line became clotted but my aunt wondered why she couldn't have flushed it? My overall experience was HORRIBLE and after 5 visits I still felt in the dark about my disease. I guess I made my final dec when I asked him if it was safe to take B12 and he asked me what B12 was. WOW.
I had taken two different people with me to help me decide whether or not I was judging the situation right...and both said I had been. So soon I will see one of the best Drs referred by the Amer.Hem.Soc itself.
