:(

So I live in Queens and work in Manhattan. I was on the subway to work this morning when all of a sudden I started shaking and getting dizzy. Fell on my knees and threw up in the middle of a crowded train. My husband had to come to to city and bring me home. On my way to another doctor right now to talk about some other possibilities.

Will this ever end?

Saw this and had to comment , when I was pre-Hashimotos diagnosis this happened to me twice! threw up in public after getting dizzy and weak. IT was horrible. I know how you feel! It was like 5 yrs before I was diagnosed, and now I think it might have been being hypoglycemic which I know find is also or can be related to thyroid problems. In the years leading up to my diagnoses I was first warm all the time, my temp usually was a degree or so above 98.6 all the time, then I got to be colder and needed a blanket even in summer. But I would occasionaly get warm too, I guess when the thyroid is dying out it can go through storms where it puts out more thyroid, then it backs off, so similarly it can make your metabolism spike, making you really hungry or just useing up all your reserve energy like in your liver then you can crash and even throw up like your hypoglycemic. I used to pass out sometimes too, faint if I would overexert myself. Maybe you were having a low blood sugar spell? Having a higher testosterone level can cause this too. I used to always have to carry cereal bars with me and juice boxes or candy.

Thanks for the info Bloom! I will definitely mention this to my dr. I wasn\'t sure if this was a symptom of a possible thyroid condition or just me being too anxious with everything lately. It has happened a couple times so far (although this was the first time in public & in the middle of a crowded NYC subway was not fun at all). This all started about 4 months ago and I feel like I was warm all the time in the beginning too. But now I feel like I am freezing all the time (but burning inside). Almost as if I am having hot flashes at 28. My temp is always in the low 97s, sometimes even in the 96s and this is constant. I am hoping to get some answers this week. The not knowing part is the worst. I just want a diagnosis so I can be on the right medication. Right now I am taking Klonopin to help with some of the anxiety. I hate that I am taking it because it spaces me out even more and I don\'t want to get addicted to it. I feel like it is only masking a problem that has yet to be diagnosed by my dr. - So frustrating!

Thanks for all your help :)
